There was a stir in 150 schools of Delhi-NCR on Wednesday. The reason for the chaos in schools was the email threatening to blow them up with bombs. In fact, many schools in Delhi-NCR had received bomb threats. This threat was given through email. When the police investigated it, the IP address of the email sent turned out to be from Russia.
Police say that servers established abroad and dark web may have been used to send the emails. Because of the dark web, it becomes difficult for the police to find the sender of the email.

You can consider the dark web as the underworld of the internet world. Here the buying and selling of users' data takes place. Hackers sell leaked data on the dark web only. To access it you need a special browser. You will be able to access this through TOR (The Onion Router)
How does the IP address change?
VPN and proxy networks are used to change the IP address. VPN i.e. Virtual Private Network is a technology that helps in keeping your connection secure and private. Encryption is used in this, due to which the user's IP remains secure.
VPN creates a fake IP address for the user. Because of this, it becomes difficult to find out the exact location of the user. IP address i.e. Internet Protocol is like Aadhar card for any device i.e. unique. Only with its help the device is identified.
Now the big challenge before Delhi Police and cyber teams is how to crack the network of dark web and proxy servers and trace the person or suspicious organization which filled 150 schools of Delhi-NCR with fear. Due to which every parent got worried about their children going to school and also posed a big challenge for the security agencies.
